Michael Murphy is the Founder, Managing Partner, and Chief Executive Officer of Rosecliff, a leading alternative asset management firm. He also serves as the Chairman of the firm’s Management Committee and co-head of its Investment Committee.

Currently, Michael is the Founding Sponsor and Chief Executive Officer of Rosecliff Acquisition Corp (RCLF). In 2021, he brought RCLF public on the Nasdaq to focus on merging with a technology enabled business. As of November 2021, the public entity has agreed to merge with Gett Inc, a software and logistics business that optimizes ground transportation management for corporates. Michael sits on the Board of Directors for various Rosecliff portfolio companies including; SquareFoot, Fordays, Tortoise, Cargo.

Michael began his financial services career in fixed income at Oppenheimer. Prior to founding Rosecliff in 2015, he was a serial entrepreneur in the financial services industry. Michael was the Founder of an investment banking firm and a long short hedge fund. Early in his career, he became a prominent angel investor in various high growth technology businesses.

Michael is currently a regular contributor on Fox Business Network, bringing his expertise and experience on trends in the private equity, venture capital, and equity markets.

Michael graduated from Hofstra University with a Bachelor of Science in Finance. Michael currently resides in New York City with his wife and six children.

Michael Caso is the Co-Founder, Managing Partner, and President of Rosecliff, a leading alternative asset management firm. He also serves on the firm’s Management Committee and co-head of its Investment Committee. At Rosecliff, Michael has launched seven alternative investment funds, led investments in over 100 portfolio companies, and raised over $1 billion in assets under management from investors. Some of his highlighted investments include: Allbirds, Ro, Thirty Madison, PIPE, Postmates, Hyperice, WheelsUP, Petal, ZenBusiness.

Separate from Rosecliff, he is also the Founder & Chief Executive Officer of Rosecliff Capital Advisory, an asset management firm that specializes in providing complex investment strategies that generate competitive risk-adjusted returns through structured portfolios.

In 2021, Michael became a Founding Member and Sponsor of Rosecliff Acquisition Corp (RCLF). RCLF went public on the Nasdaq to focus on merging with a technology enabled business. Michael was awarded the prestigious Forbes 30 Under 30 for his excellence and success in the venture capital industry. He was also recognized in VCJ as a Top 30 Rising Star in VC.

Michael graduated from Fordham University with a Bachelor of Science in Economics. In 2022, he is graduating from Cornell University with a Masters of Business Administration.

Michael currently resides in New York City.

Patrick Crotty is the Chief Compliance Officer of Rosecliff, responsible for managing all aspects of the Compliance Program. Patrick was most recently the Deputy Chief Compliance Officer of GQG Partners where he was responsible for supporting the asset manager’s compliance program as well as maintaining GQG’s sub-advisory relationships and building a Monitoring and Testing program. Prior to GQG Partners, Patrick was the Global Head of Trade Advisory and Trade Surveillance for JP Morgan Asset Management (JPMAM), resolving trading matters and regulatory issues across numerous regions and products.

Before joining JPMAM, Patrick was the Deputy Chief Compliance Officer of Sculptor Capital where he managed the day to day compliance program and acted as regulatory liaison to the business on MNPI and conflict of interest issues. He worked with the front office on strategic initiatives to ensure regulatory compliance for new businesses and products and provided guidance to senior management globally on various compliance, trading and business issues.

Before becoming a compliance professional, Patrick was a multi-product trader on both the sell-side and buy-side, an assistant portfolio manager, and a Member of the New York Stock Exchange.

Patrick holds an M.B.A. from Fordham University, Gabelli School of Business.

Connor Frazier is responsible for sourcing investment opportunities, conducting research, investor relations and supporting Rosecliff’s portfolio companies. Connor focuses most of his time on consumer and technology-enabled opportunities. Prior to joining the Rosecliff team, Connor has experience in both the retail and investment banking industries. He worked as a financial analyst at a middle market investment banking firm based in New York City. He was responsible for conducting due diligence and analyzing incoming deal flow. He also assisted the firm in various capital raising efforts. Connor led due diligence on Tortoise, ZenBusiness, Kyte, Gatsby, Twine & Powerboard. He currently serves as a board observer to Tortoise.

Outside of work, Connor is an active stock investor. He was head of internal research at Pace University’s Investment Club. He has been involved in multiple equity trading competitions throughout New York City.

Krish Mehta is a principal at Rosecliff Ventures. Krish joined Rosecliff after graduating from New York University’s Leonard N. Stern School of Business where he studied Finance and Data Science.  Krish was born and raised in Mumbai, India. Prior to joining Rosecliff, Krish worked at a New-York based technology Consulting firm. He also worked at the Bombay Stock Exchange in their Cyber Security Department. 

Hannah Sofield is an Investment Analyst at Rosecliff Ventures. Prior to joining Rosecliff, Hannah worked in Corporate Finance at an Advertising Technology company. Hannah had previously worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP in their Los Angeles office, where she provided assurance services to clients in the financial services industry. Hannah graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles where she studied Economics and Accounting. Outside of work, Hannah enjoys snowboarding and distance running.

Luke Keating is an Investment Analyst at Rosecliff Ventures. Prior to joining Rosecliff, Luke worked at a multinational technology company supporting the emerging tech specialist team. Luke graduated from Franklin and Marshall with an undergraduate degree in Political Science and Government and was a student athlete. After graduating, he attended Villanova University where he played lacrosse and began his MBA at the Villanova School of Business. Outside of work, Luke enjoys travelling, playing sports and Djing & Producing.

Joseph Barbati is an Investment Analyst at Rosecliff Ventures. Prior to Rosecliff, Joseph attended Fairfield University for his undergrad, where he studied Finance and Business Analytics.  After achieving his undergrad, Joseph pursued his MBA at Fairfield University with a concentration in Finance. Joseph was awarded a lifetime membership of Beta Gamma Sigma (BGS). Prior to Rosecliff, Joseph has experience in law, hospitality and insurance. Outside of work, he enjoys investing, exercising, sports, and traveling.

Marvin Mujko is an investment analyst at Rosecliff Ventures. Prior to Rosecliff, Marvin co-founded a SaaS startup that provides tools to automate checkout flows and real-time market data for crypto traders. Marvin attended Boston College and the London School of Economics and holds a degree in Economics. He attended Regis High School in New York City and returned as a Hearn Fellow in 2023. Outside of work, Marvin is an active investor and enjoys basketball and travelling.

Annika graduated from Berkeley College with a Bachelors in Business Management & Administration. Prior to joining Rosecliff, she worked for JP Morgan Chase as an Associate Banker. Outside of work, she enjoys meeting with friends and exploring NYC. Annika also enjoys cooking, traveling, and has a passion for the beauty industry.

Danielle is an Executive Assistant at Rosecliff Ventures. Danielle graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelors in Business Administration with a concentration in Public Health. Before joining Rosecliff, Danielle worked as a Healthcare Recruiter for Medix Healthcare. In her free time, Danielle enjoys traveling and trying new restaurants in NYC.
