Michael Murphy is the Founder, Managing Partner, and Chief Executive Officer of Rosecliff, a leading alternative asset management firm. He also serves as the Chairman of the firm’s Management Committee and co-head of its Investment Committee.

Currently, Michael is the Founding Sponsor and Chief Executive Officer of Rosecliff Acquisition Corp (RCLF). In 2021, he brought RCLF public on the Nasdaq to focus on merging with a technology enabled business. As of November 2021, the public entity has agreed to merge with Gett Inc, a software and logistics business that optimizes ground transportation management for corporates. Michael sits on the Board of Directors for various Rosecliff portfolio companies including; SquareFoot, Fordays, Tortoise, Cargo.

Michael began his financial services career in fixed income at Oppenheimer. Prior to founding Rosecliff in 2015, he was a serial entrepreneur in the financial services industry. Michael was the Founder of an investment banking firm and a long short hedge fund. Early in his career, he became a prominent angel investor in various high growth technology businesses.

Michael is currently a regular contributor on Fox Business Network, bringing his expertise and experience on trends in the private equity, venture capital, and equity markets.

Michael graduated from Hofstra University with a Bachelor of Science in Finance. Michael currently resides in New York City with his wife and six children.

Jay Rattino is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in New York with over 15 years of experience in accounting, auditing, and financial management. He began his career at KPMG, where he audited companies reporting under both IFRS and GAAP. Over the course of his career, he has held key roles in audit, fund administration, and private investment accounting, developing expertise in financial reporting and operational efficiency.

Krish Mehta is a Principal at Rosecliff Ventures, where he leads the firm’s Frontier Technology Thesis — an investment strategy focused on advancing innovation across artificial intelligence, aerospace, defense, energy resilience, and space infrastructure.

At Rosecliff, Krish oversees the investment team and is responsible for sourcing, diligence, and execution of early- and growth-stage venture investments. His portfolio includes companies operating at the intersection of deep technology and national competitiveness, spanning AI semiconductor design, defense and aerospace engineering, and sustainable energy systems.

Since joining Rosecliff in 2019, Krish has helped shape the firm’s approach to frontier and dual-use technologies, supporting founders whose work strengthens the U.S. innovation ecosystem.

Krish earned his B.S. in Business (Finance and Computing & Data Science) from New York University’s Leonard N. Stern School of Business. Born and raised in Mumbai, India, he now lives in New York City.

Luke Keating is a Senior Associate at Rosecliff Ventures. Prior to joining Rosecliff, Luke worked at a multinational technology company supporting the emerging tech specialist team. Luke graduated from Franklin and Marshall with an undergraduate degree in Political Science and Government and was a student athlete. After graduating, he attended Villanova University where he played lacrosse and began his MBA at the Villanova School of Business. Outside of work, Luke enjoys travelling, playing sports and Djing & Producing.

Joseph Barbati is the Chief Compliance Officer at Rosecliff Ventures. Prior to joining Rosecliff, Joseph earned both his Bachelor of Science in Finance and Business Analytics and his Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from Fairfield University. He was awarded lifetime membership in Beta Gamma Sigma (BGS), the international honor society recognizing academic excellence in business. Before transitioning into venture capital, Joseph gained experience across the legal, hospitality, and insurance industries.

Livy graduated from Penn State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Marketing. Before joining Rosecliff, she worked as an Account Manager at an IT Talent Solutions firm. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling and teaching fitness classes, combining her love for fitness with her passion for health and wellness.
